Made in Wyoming « Back to Search Results

The Made in Wyoming program is one of the Wyoming Business Council’s small business retention and expansion programs. It assists companies located in the state with the identification and promotion of products made or substantially enhanced in Wyoming.

More than 300 companies have enjoyed success thanks in part to the assistance of Made in Wyoming.

Member businesses benefit from use of the trademarked Made in Wyoming logo, space at retail and wholesale venues, trade show assistance, an online directory, market exposure through storytelling and brand campaigns and access to business retention and expansion services.

Perks to Made in Wyoming clients include displays in the Wyoming Mercantile at the Wyoming State Fair and Rodeo in Douglas and space in Denver Mart, the region’s premier wholesale marketing facility.

Upton is located 70 miles east of thirteen open pit coal mines, including the Thunder Basin Coal Mine, the nation's largest. You can arrange to have guided tours to learn more about this critical industry in northeast Wyoming. Upton and Newcastle are on the railroad right-of-way that ships most of the coal to midwestern and eastern markets. There is an average of 75 Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad trains that pass through Weston County daily. This is a train watchers heaven!
