National Federation of Independent Business meeting held in La Junta « Back to Search Results

Owners of several small business across the valley convened at the La Junta Golf Club Tuesday evening for a luncheon hosted by the National Federal of Independent Business.

Founded in 1943, the NFIB is one of the largest and oldest associations in the country devoted solely to small business.

“We’re making sure that state public policy and federal public policy is there to help small businesses rather than work against them,” said Tony Gagliardi, Colorado State Director for NFIB.

Both Newcastle and Upton have large deer herds living right in town!  Wild turkeys are everywhere! There are large elk herds to the north, east and west!  There are more North American Pronghorn Antelope than there are people!  Look for groundhogs, snakes and lizards. Wildlife watching is easier than people watching in Newcastle and Upton. Bring your binoculars and your cameras!
