salonPeople in the area now have a new option for their cosmetic needs with the opening of Kimberly Anne’s Hair Design. The new beauty salon is located in the old M & M station on the corner of 2nd Street and Highway 116 with a new location coming soon.

The office hours as of right now are Tuesdays through Fridays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and you can schedule by going to or by appointment at https://square.site/book/0N4QAKQTC440V/kimberly-anne-s-hair-design-upton-wy. Once the salon moves to the new location a ribbon cutting with the Chamber of Commerce will be held.

Owner and operator, Kim Jones of Upton attended beauty school at True Colors Cosmetology in Gillette and has been doing hair for 15 years. She previously worked with Meraki Hair Design in Gillette until she left to open her salon here in Upton. She has attended several hair shows and classes and is currently Baylage Certified and is studying to be certified by The American Board of Certified Haircolorist.

“In this salon we welcome guests, listen to requests, we snip and style,” added Kimberly. “We love color, we care about people, we like to laugh, we appreciate your loyalty and we love hair.”

Kimberly and her fiance, Chris make their home in Upton with their children, Billie age 14, Lexi age 10, Austynn age 8, and Brantley age 2. She said her amazing fiance has been nothing but supportive of her dream to start this business and has been by her side every step of the way.

“I’m looking forward to having a lifetime business here in Upton and fulltime availability for our community,” commented Kimberly. “I one day hope to be a color educator along with running the salon here.”
