Upton is a small Wyoming town in Weston County. Its location is Northeastern Wyoming and is about half way between Newcastle and Gillette. The town itself was actually named after George Upton who in his time was a railroad surveyor.

Old Town is a restored village reconstructed on the original site of Irontown. Reconstruction of the original Irontown settlement is underway, stop by to see the cabins, wagons and a sod house. For more information call the Upton chamber of commerce at 468-2228.
