Life is good in a small town

Monday, May 30, 2016

Small town life has many benefits. The general pace of life is slower, which can be very appealing in our fast-paced, high-tech society. You don't have to worry about traffic jams. Your neighbors know your name and you can feel like you’re part of a community.

Upton is a small town in Northeastern Wyoming with lovely amenities, including a beautiful city park with tall ponderosa pines, a kids’ playground, a walking trail, and picnic areas. History buffs will appreciate Upton’s Red Onion museum with displays related to early pioneer life and Indian artifacts. Upton’s “Old Town” features eight reconstructed pioneer cabins.

Small communities like Upton know how to have fun. We have a fall festival and the summertime Upton Fun Days, which includes a free community BBQ. Learn more about our charming community! http://ow.ly/MS1Xb
