Wyoming is an energy-producing powerhouse

Monday, June 06, 2016

Did you know that Wyoming produces more energy for other states than any other state in the nation? Coal, crude oil and/or natural gas are produced in 22 of Wyoming's 23 counties. Yet, since the Cowboy State is the least populated state, our energy needs are minimal.

Companies transporting and utilizing such natural resources and materials benefit greatly from the central location and sophisticated capabilities provided by Upton Logistics Center. The 600-acre rail park in Northeastern Wyoming is situated on the double mainline of the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railroads.

The center is a premier transload facility with its own crew, which means we do our own switching and transloading, improving overall efficiency. Learn more: http://ow.ly/MiGIy
