Amenities for a growing community

Upton, Wyoming received a $1,500,000 Community Facilities Grant in 2008 to renovate our community center and bring it up to date with the needs of our growing community. This windfall helps to improve the quality of life in our community by improving available facilities for social and physical activities.

As a part of this, the town developed a series of education, recreation, and social well-being programs to benefit residents of Upton and the surrounding communities, including Osage, Moorcroft, Sundance, and Newcastle. The vastly upgraded facility can be used for meetings, recreation, adult education, performances, community gatherings, exercise classes, and more.
