Albert Einstein once said, "The hardest thing to understand in the world is the income tax." In Wyoming, we tend to agree with the sentiments of this influential genius. That's why we have no income tax and low property taxes. We believe people should be able to keep as much of their hard-earned money as they can.

Because we also like to encourage small businesses and entrepreneurs, we don't have a corporate income tax either. In fact, in 2015 the Tax Foundation again ranked Wyoming #1 for its overall tax climate.
