Workforce Development Remains a Priority for Wyoming

Workforce development and retention of a trained, skilled workforce - issues that remain a priority for Wyoming to compete in the ever changing global job market. ENDOW Executive Council Member Rosie Berger said that bridging the gap with the youth of Wyoming and helping them determine early on what they’d like to do in life, is essential to the future of Wyoming.

Berger said that it isn’t necessarily a bad thing to have people leave the state for awhile.

The ENDOW Executive Council is an initiative backed by Governor Matt Mead and the Wyoming Legislature with the goal of developing an economic diversification strategy to guide the evolution of Wyoming’s economy toward the objective of a sustainable, diversified, value added economy by 2038.
