Powder River Energy Corporation launches powerful online economic development website and portal

Powder River Energy Corporation (PRECorp) is giving a helping hand to the communities it serves with a full-service economic development website and portal. The site will focus on aiding in business attraction, business retention and expansion, and workforce development in northeast Wyoming.

Member and Community Engagement and Sustainable Growth are two of three central aspects of PRECorp’s Strategic Vision to better serve its membership. To help fulfill that vision PRECorp has launched the economic development website and portal.

The new PRECorp website centralizes key information and resources for regional stakeholders, entrepreneurs, businesses, and economic development organizations. It is PRECorp’s hope that visitors will find the tools and information on the site to be thorough and easy to use.

Visitors can view the site and its information at www.precorpbizworks.com. Each section of the site has further links to additional resources and best practices, and contains community profiles including demographic information on most of the communities PRECorp serves. Working with its communities, PRECorp intends to further develop the site and community profiles by adding relevant news stories, event information, and other local information helpful in business development and expansion.

The site was developed through an agreement with the Golden Shovel Agency, a full-service economic development marketing firm with a strong focus on website development and online communications. “For an organization the size of PRECorp, having a partner like the Golden Shovel Agency is key to creating an informative and information-rich economic development website and market presence for the communities we serve.
